Guava- A Healthy Fruit

Guavas generally a fruit of tropical countries . Though this kind of fruit is also found in other countries There are various types of Guavas in India . In Kasi it is called "Kasir Guava" ; in Dehradun it is called "Dehradun's Guava" , in Bengal it is called"Bengal's Guava" . Generally Kashi's Guava is reddish inside . In Bengal itis white inside . But one thing is common and that benefit is same .

The general test of Guava is sweet and it likes not only human , but also animal like mammals and birds are also like it very much . One funny thing is that when animals like mammal and also birds eat Guava , they separate seed as they don't eat seed and throw here and there ; thus again new Guava trees are born . The green Guava is not eatable as the same is very hard and that is not good at health . Generally , ripe Guava and half ripe Guava are come to market for sale.

In various tropical and sub-tropical countries are generally cultivate this fruit and best quality of Guavas they export to foreign market .

Earlier it priced was not much ; but now it is very costly fruit . This is generally summer time fruit in Bengal . Then it  priced comes down little bit , but other time it price are so high . The Guava Juice is very delicious . But most of time it is eaten raw .

It nutritional value is very effective for human health . It contains rich nutritive fibber , vitamins A & C , potassium , copper , manganese , etc. in Bengal it is myth that one 100 gms Guava is similar effect of two apples . The energy level of human bodies is reducing regularly as per the rule of the nature ; Vitamin C is the item which resists the energy level of human body intact . So maximum taking of vitamin C is good at health ; human body will take as the requirement and balance will be outlet .

It is always better to avoid of taking vitamin C in the shape of tablets ; instead of that daily eating of one or two Guava is suggestible . The new born green leaf of Guava trees is using as local medical myth to prevent tooth aches , diarrhea , etc .

First of I would like to say that almost regular I eat Guava if it priced would go higher . This is my old habit . Because Guava supplies me enough vitamin C and thus it protects the shortage of vitamin C in my body . Each 100 gm Guava carries Calories-68 mg , fat-1 gm. , cholesterol- 0 mg ,sodium-2 mg , potassium 417 mg , carbohydrate-14 g , digestible fiber-5 g ,vitamin-112%, vitamin C-380%, vitamin B-6 5%, calcium-1% iron-1%, magnesium-5% approximately.
